Each Tuesday during the 2025 legislative session, TMA will host one physician volunteer on Capitol Hill to advocate for policy issues of his or her choice. Volunteers will spend one day in Nashville interacting with state lawmakers, attending committee hearings, and working with TMA lobbyists to leverage your expertise into legislative advocacy. 

Registration for the 2025 legislative session is now open. Slots are available from February through April and reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. To be eligible to participate, volunteers must have an active, unrestricted medical license and be a current TMA member to participate.
