The TMA Legislative Committee will begin the process of determining the association’s policy agenda for the 2026 legislative session on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10:00am CT at TMA headquarters. The meeting is open to all members. Those interested in attending in person should RSVP to Kirk Cunningham at kirk.cunningham@tnmed.org.

Members may also submit issues to consider as policy priorities in the coming year. The Legislative Committee prioritizes issues based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, composition of key committees, bills that passed recently, opposition of stakeholders, fiscal impact to the state, and overall feasibility of passage.  

For those interested in submitting an issue for consideration, please fill out the form linked below and send to Kirk Cunningham. Regardless of whether you plan to attend the meeting in person to present your issue, the form should be completed as thoroughly as possible to ensure the Legislative Committee has the necessary information to make a determination.
